Zander had a hard time sleeping last night and he was up at the crack of dawn. He dressed himself very carefully for his task at hand, and then assembled all the tools necessary for the job. He ate a hasty breakfast and then headed out the door to a small dirt patch in the backyard. At last, he was going to plant his vegetable garden! He has worried that the snow would never melt, the temperature would never warm up and the planting season would be too short! He will plant his seeds and tend his garden in growing anticipation of the little green shoots coming up and vegetables slowly sprouting out, which to Zander's way of thinking, is a miracle. But best of all is the harvest and enjoying the fruits (and vegetables) of his labor!
